![]() ![]() In this low point for the show, Lucifer and Pierce went undercover as a gay couple to investigate a killer working in the neighbourhood. Again, this is sort of funny, until it becomes clear that Maze is just another " depraved bisexual" in a long line of clichéd and unrealistic characters whose yearnings are portrayed as something amoral.īack in season three, the queerest episode of Lucifer to date could have righted some of these wrongs, but unfortunately, 'Till Death Do Us Part' ended up cementing them further. Unfortunately, little has been done to progress beyond that since, and the moments when Lucifer does explore queerness are often more harmful than good.įor example, Maze once developed a crush on another woman because they "smelled" like torture and despair.
